Long story short … bio*
I discovered painting thanks to an happy accident, one day i received a postcard from my first Love, featuring some art brut artists. It was a shock, i felt freed and thrilled to discover that the so called art world was open to an other kind of artists. The next day, i put my guitar on its rack & got some paint and tools to create my first artworks …

( More details about my journey in the different galleries texts)

The process
All my creations follow the path of Pareidolia …
When i do an artwork, i don’t wanna rush or force anything … I always look to follow the intuition (spirit) rather than the instinct (animal) so …
quite often it can ask months (even years) for an artwork to be complete. I see it like a sort of intimate relationship. Just like any other beings, you grow up & mature through experiences and time. In this way, the artworks and I, are evolving in parallel. I can add an element here or there, work on it intensively for x hours/days and then to let months or years pass by, as long as i don’t feel a “Call” from the particular artwork. Another point, i take an extra care in naming the artworks, if you are curious, there’s always some strings to pull off to discover a story, an universaLink or myth, leading to more curiosity and knowledge… Have a great ride*

Artist’ Statement

” The details unveil the tale… “

I’m a french self-taught artist sharing through arts, music and aphorisms.
Since i was a child, i always felt Life was bigger & deeper than human’s physical limits.
I grew up focusing on the details animating this Whole, riding thoughts & mirages the furthest possible, falling in love with Nature’s natures.
Experience always showed me how humbling and rewarding it is to pay attention to these mysterious interconnected waves, as a never-ending Source of Knowledge.

Pareidolic phenomenon (for example when you see forms, animals in the sky, trees etc) soon became my best friend and opened me the Doors of the intuitive realities.

This intuitive approach brings me to mix the colors on the canvas, observing their vibrations and the characters it suggests.
Then comes the lines, they can be seen as a metaphor of the course of Life, through the ripples of experiences, they infuse the essence of the original movement, transforming Souls into Beings.
They’re exploring each part of the space, designing each entities by creating a mutual link of knowledge & destiny.
In this way, no side of life is left without a meaning.
They confer an Unicity & Harmony into these different expressions of the world, through the stability they offer, allowing the diversity to explore the field of possibilities.

When i feel the artworks are complete, i observe them and try to discover their story. It leads to the writing of an aphorism giving an openly poetic interpretation of what is depicted.

If there’s a lesson to be learned from this process, it would be the fact that anything depends on another, it’s an universal law of a balanced existence. Life is about collaboration and communion inbetween species. Something we need to encourage, preserve and respect, from the tiniest spark to the brightest flame, moreover this flame could not be if not for the primary spark.

In order to experience a virtuous existence, we need to never forget these intertwined destinies occuring in Nature, so within ourselves.

What drives me is the desire to Be and to Re-member, as much as the will to share positive waves and insights to help the Change of consciousness *

Here is a short interview transcription, so you can check by yourself my work ethic

CultureM Magazine What’s your style of art called ?

M I don’t really have a name to put on it. As i said about the age, where you come from, your gender etc these things we give as informations make the people’s spirit builds opinions out of it. But in Art, opinions are not what matters. Feelings and what it creates into the heart and Soul is what matters. So maybe give a name to it is not worthy or maybe it is; this is the beauty of Life, either ways could lead to more meaning.

CultureM Magazine What techniques do you use to create your paintings ?

M This has always been the point with me, just like in my music. I always chose to find it out by myself. I believe “universal knowledge” is in the molecules, and up to grab for the one who believes he has to. I believe we are all able to find it out by ourselves, if we act with Faith in what we choose to do. This is not a “rejection” of technique, but rather the belief that we attract what we need, to succeed in our attempts.

CultureM Magazine Your painting looks like difficult to understand easily, what’s your messages in your artworks ?

M Like i said, i don’t really have a message. In this human’s journey, or Life on Earth, we make ourselves meet people, hear sounds, read books that make us grow and get a better idea of who we are and who we want to be. I am just a tool and a drop in this ocean for people to meet this secret part of themselves, just like creating is one of my tools to achieve the same process within myself. So i would rather say, art and life’s details in general are made to understand yourself rather than itself. This is a humbling thing to remember when you create.

CultureM Magazine As an artist, What is your plans and goal ?

M I have pretty much the same goals as an artist or human being, i don’t separate one from the other. I want to be myself, to re-member and always grow from here. But this has a meaning only if it contributes to help the others to do the same work on themselves too. Painting is a great thing to do, but in the end what matters is Knowledge of Life, the link between lives, visible or invisible. I just look to be able to travel the physical world as well as the spiritual worlds, to be able to move on planet Earth thanks to the artworks created and be able to connect with people to meet the unknown and learn from it.
