Listening to the ancient waves … Sculpture came quite lately in my artistic process … i’m still (and always be) learning the vibrations of the stones etc … I find an emotional connection while i’m sculpting. Knowing thousands of years are inbetween my hands, the fact it was made out of ancient entities, organic, mineral etc … There’s a feeling of getting closer to the origin of Life, it is so humbling & magical. It was a rendez-vous taken a very long time ago, in a way. When i start a new piece, i don’t ask myself what can i do with the raw material, but i ask the stone what does it want to be now -> Back to the galleries
