Linocut l ink on paper – (2019)
This was my very first ever linocut, back from January 2019. Like for my drawings or paintings, i did not plan on anything but the free expression of what is wishing to appear. But it shouldn’t be a surprise that a cat figure was the first thing to come out, since this is a full part of my inner self. A good homage to the past that will always last … forever. Maybe it has something to do with a ghost or like … maybe it’s the reflect of something from somewhere else … Tired teeth, eyes wide open, thin clouds on the top, … an invitation to the next phase.
