Here is a work whose meaning comes from a detail, this small character at the bottom right seems to implore, praying a great deity. Undoubtedly lost in the middle of this chaos, he seeks an answer about his destiny. We can find another version of it higher up in the painting, eyes closed, now wiser, holding the fire of knowledge in his hands. Because when everything is agitated around you, it is deep within yourself that you can find peace.
Le sens de ce tableau tient à un détail, ce petit personnage en bas à droite semblant implorer, prier, une grande déité. Sans doute perdu au milieu de ce chaos, il cherche une réponse sur sa destinée. On peut en retrouver une autre déclinaison plus haut dans la peinture, yeux clos, maintenant sage, tenant entre les mains le feu de la connaissance. Car lorsque tout s’agite autour de vous c’est profondément en soi que peut être puisé l’apaisement.
