I discovered painting thanks to an happy accident, one day i received a postcard from my first Love, featuring some art brut artists. It was a shock, i felt freed and thrilled to discover that the so called art world was open to an other kind of artists. Deeper in the process
All my creations follow the path of Pareidolia … so when i do an artwork, i don’t wanna rush or force anything … I always look to follow the intuition (spirit) rather than the instinct (animal) so … quite often it can ask months (even years) for an artwork to be complete. I see it like a sort of intimate relationship. Just like any other beings, you grow up & mature through experiences and time. In this way, the artworks and I, are evolving in parallel. I can add an element here or there, work on it intensively for x hours/days and then to let months or years pass by, as long as i don’t feel a “Call” from the particular artwork. Another point, i take an extra care in naming the artworks, if you are curious, there’s always some strings to pull off to discover a story, an universaLink or myth, leading to more curiosity and knowledge…Have a great ride*
